Add blocks to the profile page

The profile page is where customers check and update their name, email, and addresses. Add blocks here to let customers save their birthday or preferences (to customer metafields), or to show their membership tier and rewards.

Steps

Follow the steps in Show a block, with two changes for the profile page:

• In the app, under Select usage, choose Profile block.
• In the Shopify editor, switch to the Profile page before you add Genius Account Blocks.

Show and edit customer information

With metafield content, you can show customer metafields on the profile page and let customers fill them in or change them. Use it to collect details like birthdays or preferred sizes.

To ask customers for details right after they log in, you can also use the customer details form.

Examples

You can start from these templates:

• Birthday rewards: Collect birthdays for birthday discounts or your CRM.
• Membership tier and points: Show values that a loyalty app stores in customer metafields, such as tier or points.
• Preferences survey: Collect gender, size, preferences, and how customers found you.
• Reward progress: Show “Complete” to customers who have signed up, and a prompt to those who haven’t, based on customer tags.
